Our standard XXL edition only allows sharing the license being loaded on the server with up to 15 other computers that have the same network scope and subnet mask.
For example:
Server IP address: 10.0.0.1
Server subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Client IP address: 10.0.0.X
Client subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Also, our Net License service uses the port 1947 for its entire communication, so the same must be completely enabled on both sides of the connection.
In other words, you must verify any running Firewall, Antivirus, Proxy or VPN, and completely allow the income and outcome communications through this port.
Besides that, you must run the latest cardPresso private version in all Net License workstations (1.7.88), which is available through the link below.
https://www.cardpresso.com/filesforclient/Private/cardPresso/cardPresso1.7.88.exe
You can then refer to the following .pdf documentation that explains how to configure our Net License feature under a server and client machine.
If any license detection issue occurs in a client PC, while the above requirements are being fully respected, please run the Command Prompt as an Administrator there, and execute the following commands separately:
ping cardPresso_LS – will verify if the Net License service that is being ran by the server can be reached
telnet 10.0.0.1 1947 – will verify if the port 1947 used for the service communication is completely unblocked, where “10.0.0.1” must be changed to the IP address from your own server.
Then, provide us a screenshot of the obtained responses from each command execution.
