There’s a brand new feature called “Multi-device”, which is unlocked from our Standard edition forward, and through a plugin acquisition, in packs of 5 total users.
For example:
1 x multi-device plugin = 5 computers limit
2 x multi-device plugins = (2×5) 10 computers limit
3 x multi-device plugins = (3×5) 15 computers limit
…
There’s no limit for the amount of computers that can have our software installed, as well as hold the same license, directly applied or assigned to an ID-ALL account.
However, under a scenario where the target license has an acquired Multi-device plugin with a total of 5 users, only up to 5 computers can be actively using it at once.
Now, it’s entirely up to each user to figure out how they want to keep registry of this Multi-device license on their computer, where they can simply directly apply the same or assign it to an ID-ALL account.
Also, multiple computers can be actively using the same ID-ALL account, just like they can very well use one that’s exclusive for them.
Last but not least, the Multi-device plugin will work regardless of the computer location and network.
In resume, as long as a computer doesn’t try to load a license in which all the total user sits are currently taken, the same should always be able to successfully do that.
