Having any date field values incorrectly displayed in our software, which happens more often with an MS Excel database, please follow the instructions below:
1 – Open your database in MS Excel, select the entire column of your date field, right-click on it, click on Format Cells… and choose the Date option.
2 – Reconnect your database from scratch, select your date field under the Configure .XLS File window and set its Data Type to Date.
3 – After successfully connecting the database, go to the Database tab on the right, click on the properties (…) button of your date field and set its Data Type to Date.
Having a different database connection, you only have to ensure that your date field is set as “Date” type in the database source, then follow the step 3 above.
Last but not least, in case the displayed date format in our software is not the desired one, please change it on the properties (…) of the respective date Data Type.
